 Todays card features products from Heffy Doodle.

This card uses the Hootiful clear stamp set from Heffy Doodle. 

I started by stamping the owls, branches, and tree stump images with Memento Tuxedo black ink as I wanted to use my Tri Blend Alcohol markers by Spectrum Noir to colour them but I stamped the moon with Versa-fine Onyx Black as I planned to colour this with my Cosmic Shimmer Iridescent watercolour paints. I used Snow Angel from set 7, Christmas which you can find here.

Next I move on to colouring my images and I used the following colours: 


Unfortunately I do not yet own the coordinating dies to this stamp set so I had to fussy cut them out after this I placed them to one side and moved on to creating my background.

I used the outer frame from Heffy Doodle's Clover Frame Dies to die cut myself an A2 panel to create my background on. I used the Distress Inks shown on the top line below (Scattered Straw, Chipped Sapphire and Black Soot) to try to create a light nights sky and then Forest Moss to create a ground but I tried not to blend the two areas together which left a nice white highlight between the two areas.


 After I had done the background I took the Star stamps from the Hootiful set and randomly stamped them over my sky section and I used Snow Angel again to colour them and also splatter the background too! 
  
My next task was to create a sentiment and I was drawn to the "wishing you a hootiful day" but I added Beautiful from Apple Blossom's Butterfly Sentiment stamp set too as I like how beautiful and hootiful rhyme. I backed my sentiment onto some black card from my stash to help it pop and them I adhered all the images and my sentiment to the background I had created and then popped it onto an A2 card blank.

Today’s make Is a card made using product from several different brands... It has a 6 x 6 white card base which has been matted and layered with Tonic Studios Craft Perfect card stock in Aubergine Purple which I gutted using a large square die. The next layer has been embossed using the Dotty Floral folder from Apple Blossoms All Occasion Collection. I used Spectrum Noir marker PL3 to colour the flowers and added Simply Creative 3mm self adhesive gems to the centres. I next cut out the sentiment strip using Apple Blossom’s Spring Occasions set. The next step was to ink the sentiment which I took from Creative Stamps Easter Chicks and Bunnies set (which is where the bunnies came from also). The cute little bunnies have been coloured with Spectrum Noir markers... Left bunny - MB1 and MB2 Right bunny - RB1 and RB2 Both bunnies have AP1 for the insides of the ears and IG2 blended out with the colourless blender marker and these areas have also been covered with a Wink of Stella

Hmmm Coffee!!

 Today's Card features Time for Tea Designs. This is a plain and simple card using the coffee cup stamp along with one of the cute little bears from the Time for Tea Designs Bearing Gifts stamp set. I started out by die cutting a piece of cardstock using a frame from my stash and then after placing the coffee cup stamp onto an acrylic block I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to create a random background. I also stamped another coffee cup and the bear which I  used the coordinating die set to cut out.  My next task was to start to colour these little cups and for this card I decided to use my Spectrum Noir Tri blend alcohol marker Purple blend (PL2, PL3 & PL4) I also used the Ice blue (IB1) and Ice grey (IG2 & IG4) markers on the cups. I coloured the little bear using the Earth Brown blend (EB1, EB2 & EB3) Next I die cut a oval out of white cardstock which I stamped the sentiment on using Flirty Fuchsia ink by Catherine Pooler. Owlsome!!

 Today's card features Time for Tea Designs products. To start with I took a 6 x 6 inch card blank and then using my nesting square dies, I cut a piece of red glitter cardstock from the Works, to make a layer. I next took another of the square dies and die cut a white layer, which I stenciled with the T4TD Starry Heart 6x6 stencil using Festive Berries Distress Ink and then placed to one side to dry. I then moved onto stamping the owl, branch and sentiment from T4TD Be Owlsome stamp set. I used Memento Tuxedo Black as I wanted to use my Tri Blend Alcohol Markers from Spectrum Noir. I used the following pens: Ice Grey (IG2, IG4 & IG5) Ice Grey Shades (IG8) Earth Brown (EB3 & EB2) Alpine Green ( AG1 & AG3) Dark Red Blend (DR1, DR3 & DR4) Coral Blend (CR3 & CR5) & Magenta Blend (MG2 & MG3).
