A picnic with friends

Today I am sharing with you this cute scene that I have created using mostly Time for Tea Designs products.

I started out by stamping using Versa-fine Onyx Black the cute little critters and items of food from the Bears Picnic stamp set and I used my Windsor & Newton Cotman water colours to colour all the images.

The next step was to start on the background for my scene.

To do this I used the Grateful for You stamp set which has a large mountain range image, this set is fantastic as it gives you an instant background in just the one stamp. I again used my water colours to colour my scene.

When I had finished painting the background, my little bears and their accessories were dry and so I took the coordinating die set and set about cutting them all out!

Once I had done that I started to think about how I wanted to complete my scene and realised I didn't have a cloth or blanket for my critters to sit on for the picnic and so I created one of my own. I adhered everything onto my background and I then layered this onto a piece of holographic cardstock and then attached it all to my card blank.

I finished this cute little scene with a stamp from Apple Blossom's Butterfly Sentiments Stamps set and one from Papercraft Essentials, Issue 194's, free The Perfect Fit Papercraft kit.

Today’s make Is a card made using product from several different brands... It has a 6 x 6 white card base which has been matted and layered with Tonic Studios Craft Perfect card stock in Aubergine Purple which I gutted using a large square die. The next layer has been embossed using the Dotty Floral folder from Apple Blossoms All Occasion Collection. I used Spectrum Noir marker PL3 to colour the flowers and added Simply Creative 3mm self adhesive gems to the centres. I next cut out the sentiment strip using Apple Blossom’s Spring Occasions set. The next step was to ink the sentiment which I took from Creative Stamps Easter Chicks and Bunnies set (which is where the bunnies came from also). The cute little bunnies have been coloured with Spectrum Noir markers... Left bunny - MB1 and MB2 Right bunny - RB1 and RB2 Both bunnies have AP1 for the insides of the ears and IG2 blended out with the colourless blender marker and these areas have also been covered with a Wink of Stella ...

 Today's card features Time for Tea Designs products. To start with I took a 6 x 6 inch card blank and then using my nesting square dies, I cut a piece of red glitter cardstock from the Works, to make a layer. I next took another of the square dies and die cut a white layer, which I stenciled with the T4TD Starry Heart 6x6 stencil using Festive Berries Distress Ink and then placed to one side to dry. I then moved onto stamping the owl, branch and sentiment from T4TD Be Owlsome stamp set. I used Memento Tuxedo Black as I wanted to use my Tri Blend Alcohol Markers from Spectrum Noir. I used the following pens: Ice Grey (IG2, IG4 & IG5) Ice Grey Shades (IG8) Earth Brown (EB3 & EB2) Alpine Green ( AG1 & AG3) Dark Red Blend (DR1, DR3 & DR4) Coral Blend (CR3 & CR5) & Magenta Blend (MG2 & MG3). Hmmm Coffee!!

 Today's Card features Time for Tea Designs. This is a plain and simple card using the coffee cup stamp along with one of the cute little bears from the Time for Tea Designs Bearing Gifts stamp set. I started out by die cutting a piece of cardstock using a frame from my stash and then after placing the coffee cup stamp onto an acrylic block I used Memento Tuxedo Black ink to create a random background. I also stamped another coffee cup and the bear which I  used the coordinating die set to cut out.  My next task was to start to colour these little cups and for this card I decided to use my Spectrum Noir Tri blend alcohol marker Purple blend (PL2, PL3 & PL4) I also used the Ice blue (IB1) and Ice grey (IG2 & IG4) markers on the cups.
